Pixelweave 3D Creates Stadium of the Future
for Appalachian State University using 3D

Pixelweave 3D partners with Appalachian State University to depict the new 100,000-square foot Kidd Brewer Stadium as envisioned in the $32 million planned renovation and expansion of the athletic facilities enhancement campaign.

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Pixelweave 3D announced today that the full-service visualization studio has partnered with Appalachian State University to provide visualization services for the Athletic Enhancement Campaign, featuring a 100,000 square foot 3D football stadium.

The project is announced subsequent to Appalachian’s stunning 34-32 victory over No.5-ranked Michigan in September. The historic defeat marks the only time a I-AA team has defeated a ranked I-A squad. “With Mountaineer madness at a fever pitch, fans are eager to see the future of football at App State!” said Mark Bradshaw, Pixelweave 3D founding partner.

The ASU Mountaineers’ new 100,000-square-foot home for ASU athletics at Kidd Brewer Stadium is the cornerstone of the project. The new stadium complex for the Southern Conference’s premier athletic program will feature gracious amenities and state-of-the art facilities including strength and conditioning room for all student athletes, 18 VIP suites, new Chancellor’s suite and Yosef Club seating. The project also includes the construction of new baseball, softball and all-sports indoor practice facilities.

Pixelweave 3D created a range of interior and exterior 3D images to showcase ASU’s new stadium. Interior renderings included highly detailed, photorealistic renderings of luxury box suites featuring posh, comfortable seating and upscale lounges with televisions and wet bars. Exterior renderings illustrate the dramatic scale of the planned stadium from several views, including club seats, VIP entrance and plaza. Additionally, overhead views were provided of the entire stadium with 3D images of the renovations seamlessly integrated into aerial photography of the current stadium.

Pixelweave 3D also produced a virtual tour that begins with an aerial approach to the stadium that proceeds with encircling the entire exterior, then flies over the plaza and through the interior.
